The Primary Reason for Blogging
When blogging first became popular, much of it was written to send signals to search engines. Those signals were in essence saying, “Hey Google, we’re alive, we have fresh content, so come have a look.” This line of reasoning still remains of great value to business owners. There is a sort of buzzword circulating now among web content marketers and that is “subject matter experts.”
Subject matter experts really know their business and truthfully, there is no good reason to outsource that knowledge. Our particular approach was created to assist those who know their own business, have a need to communicate through their own words, but come up against a brick wall due to time constraints. These people, for example, might come from the medical industry or the construction industry. They could be chiropractors, physical therapists, or they could be chief executive officers for software companies; in other words, they come from all types of industry.
Many of our present clients simply don’t have enough hours in their day to successfully run their business and take time out to write their own blog posts. Shortcut Blogging enables them to accomplish both while on a tight schedule. All that is required from them is a short interview conducted by one of our professional interviewers, and they are done. While we could stop there and simply publish their transcribed recorded interviews, rarely is the spoken word easy to comprehend in a written format. People tend to speak in phrases and incomplete sentences which might be fine for conversational purposes, but we prefer to take it to the next step which is to rewrite those interviews into an easy to understand, flowing article, which most readers tell us they prefer.
Shortcut Content is all about assisting professionals with content creation that comes straight from their own words. It saves clients valuable time and provides a bridge of communication with their target customers.
